UPDATE: Baby Jade is all better. She is home and even though they want to keep an eye on her health, they believe she is well. Thank you for praying!

I just got a serious prayer-chain call. There is a little 2 week old baby from our church with spinal meningitis and a strep infection! Her name is Jade, and the next five days are critical.

Her temp is 104° and they can’t get it down — I assume that is the most crucial matter for prayer right now.

    I don’t normally wander off my path of blogs, but I read Encouragement today and went to Lysa’s blog and saw this comment. I, being a mom of 6, am of course in tears.

    I do pray for that sweet baby’s healing. Thank you Jesus for being with Jade and please give her parents the comfort and support they need. In your son’s precious name, we ask these things :)
