I had to take a lot of this post off. Nothing bad happened at work. But we concluded that this was too much information.
If we were self-employed, we could do something else….

And please do pray for the Esperanza Viva (Living Hope) orphanage’s situation below.
FROM ORIGINAL POST: There is an orphanage in Mexico (supported, in part, by my sister’s church) whose assets have been frozen (both US and Mexican authorities suspect that it’s a case of drug-money laundering).
I guess when God, in His glory, allows you raise $1,000,000.00 in donated funds, some eyebrows and suspicions are raised at the same time.
RIGHT NOW, there is a meeting taking place that could result in the money being freed up so they can purchase the land the money was intended to pay for. Please, intercede for them.

I am praying right now. Lord, we ask for a miracle in this situation. God you have been standing in this day long before we ever got here and we trust you are in control.
Show Helen’s husband what to do. Give him divine wisdom. Give him a strong sense of your presence.
We ask all this so your named may be glorified in the workplace today.

Helen, you are so witty. I love your sense of humor. I read your book appointment. It is awesome. I was totally prepared, except for the SASE. I forgot to bring that. And, well, as she put it, she was not the end. She was nice, but well, you know…

Just now got to the computer. Isn’t it great to know that God isn’t bound by time!? So here is my prayer:
Father, you have known before this project began that this glitch would happen. You have known that Helen would call on prayer warriors from around the globe to fall on their knees on behalf of her husband. You have known exactly how this would impact all involved. How incredible you are! Weave the hearts together that are praying and expand their voice so you will hear the cry of your children. Nothing is impossible for you Lord! You brought this opportunity ‘for such a time as this’ and we know that you have already prepared the solution. Thank you Father for seeing us, hearing us, loving us and giving us calm reassurance that you are in control. We praise you in Jesus’ name amen.
