The one who seeks,...finds. He didn't seem to be seeking much (I met with him, and had a distinctly different, positive experience with a publisher before meeting with him, and thank God for that- because I got up from there and thanked him politely and said to myself -"No, this guy, as an Agent, is NOT for me." He may not have been buying anything, but neither did I buy the conclusion that he was the only one looking. "...What God has prepared..." so many eyes have not seen it- BUT He HAS revealed it to us through His Spirit. That was my exacty experience at the 2006 conference. So this year, it was so freeing because I went in to each appointment going, God, it's all you--I'm just along for the ride. I actually left my appointment with the agent this year laughing to myself at how this guy was trying to kill time until my 15 minutes were up.
