Very busy; yet full of anticipation!
Suddenly my life has gone nuts. New kitchen floor installed with a painting project or two on my schedule; two new Bible studies to do homework for; I’m going to Chicago next month for a women’s leadership conference; and there are one or two other “projects” looming on my horizon. All this in addition to the usual wife and mom stuff.
All this from a woman who doesn’t find time to blog here regularly.
That old adage is too true: If you want something done, ask a busy person!
How did this happen? I am not regretting any of these projects or commitments - but, seriously, WHO thought I was capable of doing any of these things, let alone doing them well?
I must say the kitchen floor looks great. The $1.04 per square foot TrafficMaster “Catalina” peel and stick (on sale for under $0.80) turned out quite beautifully. It is so nice to have a pleasant surprise repeated every time I enter my kitchen.
About the “projects”: There is new website that I am working on - which I envision as a companion for the book I am working on. (Yeah - who DO I think I am?) Both are about motherhood and I’ll share more later. I am really excited and really nervous. Some days I think it will be wonderful, and others I wonder why I think I have anything worthwhile to share. When you find out the website’s name and the book title, you will see the irony in what I just told you.
