I love the internet, I hate the internet

Too long on the computer today.

Too much “commenting” followed by too much explaining myself and then deleting the explanations. I have this sense that once I’m misunderstood on the internet there is no correcting it, and any clarification or defense I could put forth would only disappear in the new swell of rising topic-tide leaving behind only the faint sound of my voice gurgling, “I care way too much what strangers thing of me!”

Explaining “what I meant” is just too exhausting. Besides, I wrote it clearly the first time - I *wrote* what I meant. I want to get on with the next thing I mean to say.

Hey, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
