Is that light at the end of the tunnel?
I have this vision of an excellently organized house full of welcoming rooms in beautiful colors with sensible and workable places for everything. (Notice I didn’t say, “and everything in it’s place.” I have at least a shred of reason.)
There are a good number of projects between me and it’s fulfillment, and I have been tempted to lose heart that I will ever get back in the swing of it. I just haven’t had the ability to make much progress during our “busy season.” That is the time from the start of school until middle of February. Several obligations, holidays and birthday parties - at least one in every month. Usually it doesn’t render me helpless, but with all of the colds a lot of my reserves have been exhausted.
But there is only one major commitment on the schedule between now and Easter. Oh, that it would stay that way!
And just maybe at least Ken and I can manage to stay virus-free for a while.
We don’t know if we’ll get a vacation this spring, but I am looking forward to the coming weeks as though they could be like one. Not that I’d get any rest, but I’d feel giddy to be free to continue my pursuit of that lovely and comfortable and organized home.

Wow, I hear you! In the midst of high birthday season and other summer parties, I am attempting to balance (or juggle) beautification, organization and maintenance. As a result, every room is a mess with half-started projects in their various states of development.
